Moroccan Atlantic fisheries follow regulated seasons. Octopus fishing typically peaks September–February. Squid is more year-round with best quality August–January. Cuttlefish availability is strongest April–October. However, our frozen inventory allows year-round supply — contact us for current stock availability.

Our sales team will respond within 24 hours with product availability, specifications, and a commercial offer. First orders typically include a video call to align on quality standards and logistics.
Morocco's Atlantic Seafood Industry
Morocco is consistently ranked among the world's top seafood exporters, producing over 1.4 million tonnes annually. The country's Atlantic coastline — stretching over 3,500km — provides unparalleled access to rich fishing grounds including the highly productive Mauritanian and Moroccan Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZ).
AF.OCEAN ATLANTIC operates from the strategic port of Laayoune in Southern Morocco, giving us direct, rapid access to the finest Atlantic catches. Our frozen octopus (Octopus vulgaris), squid (Loligo vulgaris), and cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis) are caught seasonally, processed within hours of landing, and IQF-frozen at −40°C to preserve the highest quality.
For international buyers, Morocco's EU–Morocco Association Agreement means preferential tariff rates and reduced customs duties when importing into the European Union — a significant cost advantage over suppliers from non-preferential countries.
